Awakenings
I have to admit there was always chemistry.
A flirtation that started as soon as I recognised an unrestrained, uncaring, boldness. Then, I remember that I noted it, smiled and looked away.
Energy which matches mine, an enthusiasm for life, the philosophy of ultimate chaos and every man for himself, eat well, read widely, never pass up an opportunity because life is short and yours for the taking.
Do I ascribe too much?
Am I falling too soon?
But isn't that always the way it always has been?
I wasn't even looking for a love affair when I fell into one.
